well, the adventures have begun. it's good to be back in the west; i can breathe here. and although the caves we found in ontario were a source of mild exhilaration and escape from the debilitating humidity, epinephrine isn't liberated in the blood as freely as when running the ridgeline between mount ward and allison peak. (note the tiny figure of mark standing on the edge of the precipice in the photo above.) and there are many more events in store, barring any unforseen alpine misadventure leading to my premature death. to those stuck in the east, there is an open invitation for friendship, lodging and adventure here in vancouver. come visit.
