a friend and i were in search of adventure yesterday, which serendipitously lead us to the bottom of a cave that reached far into the bowels of the earth below the escarpment at mount nemo world biosphere reserve. i say 'serendipitously', because although we went with the intention of spelunking, we weren't considering the fact that the subterranean environment would be significantly colder than what most people above ground were forced to suffer. thus, i have discovered another way to avoid the heat, and so be able to survive the scorching summers of southern ontario.
